To connect with young clients, Boursorama Banque writes an ad in the form of the longest discount code ever, redeemable on ASOS.

Boursorama Banque is the leading online bank in France, and the cheapest bank for young people. And the bank wants them to be aware of this important fact.

The problem is that young people don’t read ads, let alone ads for banking.

So instead of publishing an ad they wouldn’t read, the bank wrote everything it had to say in a very long discount code, redeemable on ASOS:

For this campaign, Boursorama Banque set up an exclusive partnership with the fashion website ASOS, one of the world’s biggest online fashion stores.

The bank is transforming the discount code into a new distinct advertising format, enabling the brand to communicate differently to a young target which is otherwise averse to traditional advertising.

This extra-long discount code is available since of 5th November 2018 through a national media campaign in major French newspapers and an Out Of Home display campaign in French universities and colleges.
